Danica pursued a master’s in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University. Early in her career, Danica worked with adolescents and families in a public health setting, helping families to reunify after DCS involvement. She believes every individual has the power to make changes in themselves once they come to a place of acceptance and commitment.
Danica’s role is to hold clients accountable to make the changes they want to see in themselves. She will walk alongside her clients as a guiding light on their personal journey, offering different perspectives that encourage personal growth. She has a laid-back style and is genuine, transparent, and honest with her clients, often using humor during sessions to make clients comfortable and to encourage all to use laughter when dealing with life’s woes.
Danica is originally from the East Coast, born and raised in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania where she lived until 2011 and then moved to Arizona to be closer to family. Danica helps her community by volunteering weekly at Arizonans for Children as a supervisor for families who are court-ordered to supervised visits with their children.
She believes part of good mental health is connecting with nature and encourages clients do the same. She loves the oitdoors and was an avid gardener in PA. She has traveled many places around the globe; sailing across Loch Ness and Ireland were two of her favorite trips. An African safari is on her bucket list! Danica is a keeper and hobbyist of exotic pets, including reptiles, arachnids, guinea pigs, and freshwater shrimp.
